Going Places

Last week was full of good things. We handed over the primary school to the Governor's office, District Education Department, and the people in the village. We sent a total of four deaf children to study at the Government Deaf School in Luang Prabang. We brought a blind orphan from another village to a foster family in our village where he can go to school and learn to speak Lao. One patient returned from the hospital in Luang Prabang with a new leg and the other patient will remain there for another month. Next week we need to work on getting water to the school and continue to transition the children's center from our home into the school.
