Coffee Creamer Babies

Yesterday while in a village following up on Japanese encephalitis patients, we happened to find three babies fed coffee creamer diluted with water mixed with rice. Families do not understand the differences between coffee creamer and formula. Research shows that the labels used on coffee creamer confuse parents. Efforts to stop the use of the "Bear Brand" label in Laos have been effective. We recently noticed a variation of the "Bear Brand" label and notified two companies whose intellectual property we thought were being infringed upon.

Last week we received a response informing us stating that if the coffee creamer company did not stop using the logo, these companies would proceed with legal action.

We are hopeful that a company with a yearly profit of more than $15,000,000,000 will be successful with their legal action.
