Last weekend Joia took a break from her work in Luang Prabang to come and visit the Butterfly Children's Development Center. We gathered enough material to make about 130 hula hoops. Then we taught the children how to make hula hoops and supervised and helped them. Some of their parents also came to help. After finishing all of them, the children learned and practiced different ways of playing with them.
